Head of Research - Margaret Street

Job Description:

To provide thought leadership and be the principal presenter and spokesperson for the rural research team, contributing where necessary to the wider cross divisional Savills research business.

Key Responsibilities:

In conjunction with other members of the rural research team, to oversee and take responsibility for the delivery of market leading research publications and material across a range of issues including:

  • The rural economy, land and property market
  • Trading enterprises connected to the rural and rural leisure sector
  • The environment and the renewable energy sector

Candidate Profile:

  • Be an outstanding and respected key note speaker at external and internal events
  • Respond to national and trade press enquiries including broadcast media
  • Develop a social media profile in their own right, for the division and the wider Savills business
  • Be able to identify key themes and issues and to analyse and test all relevant data and information
  • Agree briefs, budgets and timescales for the production of research material and outputs
  • Identify and communicate key themes and findings
  • Liaise with PR and marketing teams to ensure the effective and rapid dissemination of information internally and externally
  • Help develop an ambitious team
  • Work across a number of projects at any point in time and to manage competing priorities
  • Draw out and define new projects from within the division
